The U.S. Arts & Entertainment Chamber of Commerce & Tourism (USAECCT) is excited to champion and support the powerful connection between tourism, arts, entertainment, sports,  and economic development. Every concert, festival, museum exhibit, sporting event, theatrical production, cultural celebration, and entertainment experience creates opportunities for travel, visitor engagement, and community growth.

Tourism is more than travel; it is an economic engine that fuels local businesses, creates jobs, strengthens communities, and showcases the unique culture and creativity of destinations across the nation. 

According to the National Endowment for the Arts, "The Arts Economy, A national brief summary." In 2023, the most recent year for which data are available, the arts and cultural sector reached an all-time high of $1.2 trillion in value added to the U.S. economy. That year, the arts represented 4.2 percent of the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
