ORIGINS OF SUCCESS

Arlesia Speaks, "Wow, launching the USAECCT means so much to me in supporting the Arts.  In my professional and personal life, I am always looking for ways to improve in leadership, education, quality, and service, and define my purpose in the community. 

The U.S. Arts & Entertainment Chamber of Commerce & Tourism is a membership-based organization that provides networking opportunities, business resources, and advocacy for local businesses.

HerStory - Born and raised in Newark, NJ, working in New York City, then venturing off to Atlanta in 1991, this inner-city visionary, who loved the Business of Wall Street,  Fashion and Art of 7th Avenue, Tourism of Canada, and the Real Estate of Atlanta, she is a 30-year business veteran who has unlocked her "Key to Success" and wants the same for others.

 
The visionary founder of the U.S. Arts & Entertainment Chamber of Commerce & Tourism, Arlesia Samuels, is often referred to as a pioneer in economic development, the arts, tourism and transportation, green and sustainability, hospitality, and community outreach. 

Although the physical galleries are closed, the “Arts” still live within Arlesia.

​​Arlesia is just as passionate about the “Arts” as she was back then in advocating, supporting Artists, and telling the world their stories at Gio'Vairs Galleries of Art & Savannah Sewing Academy, along with her love of tourism.  As we launch the USAECCT, she is definitely keeping you in view.

After leaving her professional retail art & accessory buying career, Gio’Vairs Galleries of Art was established to provide a communal presence that helps local artists thrive, become successful business owners, and unlock the artistic potential of every resident, no matter where they are located.

Gio'Vairs Galleries of Art supported Visual and Culinary Artists, Musicians, Poets, Writers, and Designers in Historic Downtown Buford and featured renowned Artists, Louis Delsarte, Lucious & Charlotte Riley Webb, and Jose Portilla (former Falcon player), just to name a few...Gio'Vairs Galleries of Art gave the idea and was also instrumental in creating Historic Buford's 1st Art Jazz Festival and Artists Competition.

Gio'Vairs Galleries of Art, participated in the Trumpet Awards 1st Trumpet Bazaar downtown Atlanta in 2008, featuring Artists, Actors, and Entertainers from around the world.  

In 2011, Gio'Vairs Galleries of Art added the Savannah Sewing Academy, Fashion Incubator, Designs, and Fine Art Gallery was born, supporting Fashion Designers, Visual Artists, Musicians, Authors, and Jewelry Artists, from Atlanta and Savannah, with a special guest appearance from Fashion Designer, "Simpson" India Arie's mother. 

In 2014, Arlesia was invited to become the Vice-President of the Georgia Home-Based Business Chamber of Commerce, supporting Home-Based businesses, entrepreneurs, and start-ups.

In 2021, she developed Success Lives Here 24/7 to support entrepreneurs, startups and non-profits.  Success Lives Here 24/7, a small-business development and consulting company created to support entrepreneurs, artists, nonprofit organizations, ministries, home-based businesses, and community-based organizations.

Built around the philosophy “Your Success Is Our Success,” Success Lives Here 24/7 helps clients strengthen their ideas, businesses, programs, and organizations through strategic planning, business development, branding, marketing, websites, special events, partnerships, grant research, sponsorship development, operational support, and sustainable-growth strategies.

Success Lives Here 24/7 also reflects Arlesia’s commitment to supporting the arts. Having experienced firsthand the challenges faced by artists, galleries, tourism companies, small businesses, and creative entrepreneurs, she understands that talent alone is not always enough. Creative professionals also need business knowledge, financial resources, marketing support, legal protection, visibility, professional relationships, and opportunities to generate sustainable income.

Throughout her life, Arlesia has remained deeply committed to children, teenagers, and families. She is a longtime youth advocate and teen mentor who has supported youth education, leadership development, creativity, entrepreneurship, and positive life outcomes.

Her commitment to young people became even more personal through her service as a therapeutic foster parent and her journey as an adoptive mother. These experiences strengthened her determination to create opportunities for young people—particularly those who need stability, encouragement, exposure, advocacy, and someone willing to believe in their potential.

Today, Arlesia is the Founder and President of the U.S. Arts & Entertainment Chamber of Commerce & Tourism (USAECCT), a first-of-its-kind national Chamber model being developed to unite arts, entertainment, creative entrepreneurship, business development, artist advocacy, entertainment law, technology, and cultural tourism.

USAECCT represents the culmination of Arlesia’s journey through hospitality, retail, tourism, transportation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, ministry, the arts, youth development, and Chamber leadership.

The organization is being established on one of her strongest convictions:

Through USAECCT, Arlesia seeks to ensure that artists, musicians, entertainers, filmmakers, producers, writers, photographers, designers, performers, and creative entrepreneurs have access to business education, funding opportunities, affordable creative spaces, legal resources, technology, marketing assistance, professional networks, and platforms through which they can create, exhibit, perform, protect, and monetize their work.

Arlesia’s personal and professional philosophy is grounded in servant leadership, making a difference, striving for excellence, and helping others recognize the possibilities within themselves. Her life’s work reflects her belief that creativity can transform lives, entrepreneurship can strengthen communities, tourism can build bridges, and success grows when people receive the resources, relationships, and opportunities they need to thrive.
